Another xenomorph doodle. Inked in pen and colored in photoshop.This particular xeno' is modeled off of the ones from the second movie, I used my Halcyon model to get things correct, like the ridged dome.
The xeno's from ALIENS are by far my favorite drone design. The one from the first movie, ALIEN comes in a close second.

-Giger owns the rights to the Necronom paintings that the design for the Alien was loosely based on.
20th Century Fox Film Corperation owns, without restriction, all legal rights to the Alien franchise, and anyone who wants to license anything related has to go through them. Dark Horse Comics has licensed limited publishing rights (i.e. comics, books) from Fox. Other companies have licensed the rights to toys, games, etc. But permission to do any of that comes from Fox.
Whatever rights Giger himself has to the Alien are those which he has by way of contract from Fox. IIRC he is allowed to create and sell certain types of Alien related artwork outside of the normal channels without recourse to 20th Century Fox. However, he does not own the copyrights to the franchise.

Fantastic, I've always loved your xeno art. This is dead on to the aliens design though I'd love to see your rendering of the drone from the first movie. For some reason thats always been my fav.

absolutely amazing. ^_^ I love the gradient you chose for the background. the colouring on the alien is great... he looks almost glossy. and WOW it's wierd to see his brainstem outside of the neck. o.o the rocks are nice too.. the colour makes them look almost like they're coated in blood. maybe some day you should do a rampaging alien.

A xenomorph is what the creatures in the ALIEN movie franchise are called. Though that's not their scientific name....I'd have to look that up.

That really is an awesome picture, compliments! I love the way you make your xenos all shiny and drooly. I love his tail. The mouth. The legs. EVERYTHING!
My only one complaint is that it's too dark, I had to save and modify the gammas to see it. But it's bleedin' awesome!

God, you draw Xenomorphs so well! *envy* The color scheme is wonderful, along with the awesome reflections and the creepy-crawly-wall-climbing pose. Nice work on the saliva hanging from the mouth, it looks great! The tail looks so badass, too, and you did an insanely marvelous job on the detail of the head. Kudos to you, your doodles are frickin' cool!
