I've spent to long doing pencil work....so much shading...AND I'M NOT EVEN DONE YET!!!

Her hive is a universal hive. It's located in an abandoned castle and the inner gates of said kingdom which in turn is surrounded by villages.
She is neither hostile nor friendly to normal ponies but other changelings she has no qualms with (Except for Queen Chrysalis)

Changelings get their power (and feed) off love.
In large amounts it increases the power of the Queen. If to much is intoxicated they become power hungry and begin to become corrupt and thats when they begin to attacks towns and villages near their hives. Seeing Queen Kitistraza's hive is actually an abandoned castle her hive claimed that is towering above a nearby hamlet it would be a very bad scenario if they were to become corrupt.
