Spirit form is reaper and guide both. Her father, the Angel of Death whose animal form was Kitsune, oversaw the "sorting" realm where spirits typically go. When she aligns herself to this element, she can see spirits, but typically physical forms are whispy and faded (like ghosts around the souls). Buildings disappear - which is fine, because she will appear to walk right through them. Another peculiarity of her vision is the clocks above spirits heads - telling when it's time to collect. If they are there beyond their time (such as Animamates and other forms of Zombie), their numbers will seem to move backwards in the red. If they are immortal (such as she is), they will have stopped at a certain time index upon which immortality was reached.

She carries with her a from of the Book of Life - a divine book which details the fates of every soul - should a page open to one, it's time to collect. She collects with her soul sword turned spirit sword or claws - the sword's spirit element form is pictured here.

Normally, she isn't visible to others unless she wants to be, it's their time, or they have special eyes. Her eye sight has been likened to the fabled "shinigami eye" in this form, but that actually isn't the case. It's much more expansive than that.

Rhiannon can call, in this elemental form, spirits to aid her which are either Attendants, Guardians, or simply a spirit who has agreed to aid. She can both hear and speak to them, and can see "disconnects" between peoples spirits and their conscious minds.

Of course, like all elemental forms, taking such a form has a price - which includes the responsibilities therein. This may include not interfering when she would otherwise like to - the spirits of the victims themselves have to request the aid, and even then, it has to be all right to perform the task with the Great Parent.

There is a plan and a method to which ones with shorter lives cannot see, and rules to follow - most never find out of them during their time in the "Phantom Realm" (as her people call it) or Mortal Planes (as it's more commonly known).

You can tell spirit form by the glowing opal eyes if nothing else. They are indeed colored like opals. White opals, in her case neutrally, but they can change color on her mood.

Note: The Great Parent is the Almighty! The spirit who created all things, who is neither male nor female, and yet can be both. The Great Parent is what her tribe calls the spirit, but that spirit has been called "God", "Goddess", and many variations - in the end, the great Creator spirit who is called Parent for creating everyone!

Very good attention to details, like usual.

Interesting....

You should explain who or what the Great Parent is.... Just saying.

Oh - Sorry!

The Great Parent is the Almighty! The spirit who created all things, who is neither male nor female, and yet can be both. The Great Parent is what her tribe calls the spirit, but that spirit has been called "God", "Goddess", and many variations - in the end, the great Creator spirit who is called Parent for creating everyone!

Ah, okay.

You might want to add that to the Artist Comment, maybe as a side note.

I overall like the concept, but I would work on the design a little more and making it a little clearer what exactly her powers are and what she does. You should be able to write what she does straight-foward without that many paragraphs I think.

I would also suggest making her design a little clearer, the linework cleaner and perhaps work on balancing her anatomy. The left leg is on a different plane than that of her other leg. Overall, I love the general concept but the character feels like she would benefit from a little refinement.

I could write it simply, but I find the exposition more fun, personally. Maybe that's just me?

No, this is more of a design piece - I may go back to it later, but... you are seeing what most don't - my "design phase", where I have the costume down, and perhaps a pose I'm liking, but it's not as solid as I'd like. I thought the design was nice enough to post, however!

I do to when it feels to be written in a nice cohensive manner. Maybe it is because I don't know too much of the back story of her as a character. Does she have another bio somewhere else?

I would try and simply her more costume wise as you go on within the design phase. It feels like it is just too much unneeded items everywhere. Sailor Moon Styled outfits are rather simple for the most part and I would image it would be difficult to move around with too much stuff on.

I like nicely detailed characters, but there can be a point of "just too much".

Yes, there's more information spread across her gallery.

I understand what you are saying, but I on the other hand, dislike over simplification. I like the design, myself.

It is nice` as long as you like it personally. I'm just looking at it from a viewer's point of view. You may get more people to want to view your work from a simplier looking design. Not too simple, but enough where all the details aren't a strain on the eyes like now.

I have to do things the way that satisfies me and the players most of all - not to discount favorites from viewers here, because they are special, but...

I can't really change my style because of the words of a single commenter. I hope you don't find offense in these words, but... While I am glad that you comment, it wouldn't make sense for me to stop doing it the way that I like and go with the views of someone I just heard from, you know?

These designs will find their audience of appreciators. It's too bad that it isn't your personal cup of tea, but others do like it!

Oh no, You should go what makes you happy. Just merely making a suggestion^.^

You have lots of potential and it would really shine through once you add more variety in your line-widths.

I've found that character designs in general work better when you keep things simple adding detail where neccesary. We all love lots of details but too many may just make the character overwhelming to draw for you. For example, if you wanted to do a story or something~

Oh, well... I've done that level for story pages, so it's normal for me! I just simply find I can't really draw another way - it's disatisfying, and wouldn't work well for the audience in that respect either.

The only line-widths I can use are from the pens I own. I don't own a scanner or tablet, so I can't draw on the computer except by pixel (and those works must be smaller). But then, I am a tad on the poor side...
