Description
Mixed Media on 30" x 22" CanvasThis will be my final piece for a few months, although I will still be designing and doing smaller trial pieces.
I have a shows coming up in August and October, so I am done working my tail off for a while.
Let's see how long I can go........

All my work is meant to create a sense of determination and desire to achieve happiness through the pursuit it may take to reach it.
I use portraiture to create emotion through expression, flight elements used such as birds and planes are metaphores for limitless possibilities, and the architecture used are incorporated to reveal the surroundings that engulf me everyday.
I choose to use all these elements because they inspire me as an artist.
Scale, balance, and time, are heavily weighed upon to achieve what all artists are trying to achieve, harmony. As a person, at least for myself, is trying to reach that ultimate goal in life as well, and this is why I choose to use it in my work.

Wow. I love your use of symbols and metaphors. It adds a unique touch to the overall purpose of your work. And I also love your use of color, it's such a calming, yet vibrant combination of purples and reds. I wish you future success and I hope to see more of your work very soon!
