'unusualy patient' ...it comes across..
it shows that you were..
it could be a subtitle to the painting...

it has a very fabric-y feel to it, like it's
actually folded up circus-motif-stockings...

There is an episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy wears a pair of harlequin pants, and this painting does remind me of them! Circus-motif stockings is a perfect description!

I rarely have such patience. Staying within lines is nearly impossible for me.
