thanks! i think will all the cool new formulas and mediums, acrylics are a lot more like oils than they used to be.

Especially golden open acrylics with thick molding paste (or household spackling)

i like the light molding paste (i think that's what it's called) and the liquitex stucco, and oodles of gloss medium, and my palette knife. Happy!

orange gets your attention! those little hatch marks are done with a plastic mop from liquitex. I love it.

A plastic mop? Clearly somebody's gone nuts with her supplies. A mop's never come to me for some reason, but it's a grand idea.

it looks like a little round whisk broom. stiff black plastic about six inches long. i love the thing. maybe it's not called a mop.

gracias! I almost couldn't help but have texture today. It is warm, and I was painting outside. Things dry a lot faster that way! No time to be smooth...
