Art for my book, Hawk Divine. Now available in paperback and on Kindle.My eyes became huge and gold, my body contorting, clothes ripping open. From my hands and feet I sprouted paws and claws. This strange metamorphosis was surprisingly pleasant, as though I had always been wearing the wrong skin. Written and fully illustrated by yours truly, Hawk Divine features my eight Egyptian Gods portrait series, as well as previously unseen work. Eight short stories unfold in a modern context, exploring aspects of each of the eight deities presented. Syncretic, supernatural and definitely different, I really hope you enjoy it!

Love your Egyptian mythology series! The images remind me alot of an Egyptian-themed tarot deck I used to own, but can't seem to locate--I think I may have loaned it to someone... I forget....
anyway, love the rich colors and the gold outlines of the characters add to their divinity. This one, Sekhmet, reminds me of Princess Leia in her "metal bikini" slave outfit after she was captured by Jabba the Hutt!

How can a lion goddess marry with a human-lik god? Isn't it disgusting? And engender human gods? Humans themselves are weak and filthy. Why Sekhmet needs them? I don't get the twisted mitology

Excellent work as always - I'm particularly liking that abdomen and the textures on the furry parts of the picture.
My only complaint is really just a matter of taste - I think it would be kinda cool if the kittens had been fully grown male lions (particularly if the scale was maintained).
Still great work though.
