This is a really old piece of art I did last year when I first started using photoshop. The original picture was of some blue paint pots. I used photoshop 7.0 to distort and manipulate into something more interesting.Though it might be quite nice to upload something a bit older just to be able to do a kinda 'then and now' thing. Still like the use of compliments in this, shows the basics are the best

Even it is an oldie - I am so in love with the colors! The texture is very effective, too. You mostly find the best in simple things.

The simple things can sometimes be the most effective and I always go back to colour compliments if I am at a loss of what to do.
