Description done in 2012

digital painting over analogue acrylic painting

with bamboo3 and artragepro3
assembled in photoshopCS4

did an interesting picture
[link]
that i liked a lot for composition and structure
but not for the rather de-saturated colors

so i tried to remix it
after some days working on it
suddenly a walker showed itself in a pic that should have been abstract only
i continued to work on it
final result of that can be seen here
[link]

but i kept the abastract steps that led to it
and i remixed parts of those pictures into new pictures
here are the lot of them

hope you like some
enjoy

and all praise to the wonderfull

No problem!

What I meant is that you put the best of ArtRage to use and really showed off it's possibilities. Stuff I make in Artrage more often looks like done in photoshop, but the real beauty of AR is in it's ability to mimic the real life tools, color mixing and paint smudging- exactly what you did.

ah
isee
thanks for explaining

i gotta tell you though
id love to be able to create photoshop-pictures in artrage
yet im not
(might be that i never painted or drew in PS)
so i instinctively use artrage as best possible as i would paint analogue
just as you so greatly described

hugs and bestestest to you
