Part of a bigger commission forThis is a ponified version of Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener more exactly on those iconic propaganda posters from World War I where he encouraged the British to fight for their country. I've seen a few ponified versions of this poster around, but all the ones I've seen pick a character from the show to put in place of Kitchener, instead of making a pony version of Kitchener himself.
So I went ahead and made my own pony Kitchener. I was surprised to find out how small Kitchener is in the poster compared to all the empty space that surrounds him. I guess it was done for the purpose of bringing his face to be the focus. Also, I can't unsee how it looks like he's rubbing his mustache with his hoof. And now that I said it I'm sure some of you can't unsee it either, sorry!

OOoh, Very nice!! You even got the vintage look of the paper to look right. how did you do that? im also curious on the interesting font for the word " YOU " but im guessing that is one of the design available within the program you use.
As for the hoof and mustache..... im 50 - 50. You can tell he is pointing, but also rubbing his mustache at the same time. Now that is multi tasking.

Doing the texture of the paper was a lot of fun, actually. It took less work than I originally envisioned. It's all done through layers of multiply and normal shades of color, applied with a set of brushes I downloaded from here
It's one of the default fonts of Photoshop, actually. I forgot the name.
Hehe, the mustache twirling was an unexpected side effect, but it was a fun one, mind you.
