Ink Taming/summoning- These are grouped together because they interlink with one another. The process of taming is as described:
- Fade will take ink and manipulate it to go inside the animal. This means eyes, nose, mouth. It doesn't harm them it's merely his way of linking to the animal. Once tamed, the creature's eyes will turn completely black from the ink, some of the ink will also travel to Fade's eyes, filling them in completely black as well. After a few moments both their eyes will return to normal. At this time there is a possibility the creature's appearance will take on a black form itself as a side effect of the ink taming, but this doesn't happen 100% of the time. After this it means Fade and the animal are linked. It has officially become a summon. One of the effects of fade's taming is it is now possible to share vision with the animal at times, both their eyes will turn black for a moment before fade's will match the color of the animals, seeing what it sees. This takes mana the longer he does it.
- To take an animal out of his summoning pool fade will have to manipulate/extract the ink from the animal (which again does not harm them but it does feel weird) and let the ink come out of him as well. This severs the connection between him and the creature.
- Specialities that happen with his summons cannot happen with non-summons. For him to tame an animal and have it not be added to his summoning pool the process is similar except before the ink goes into his own eyes he has to extract the ink from the animal, using his manipulation to guide it back out. These animals do not have a special bond with Fade but will no longer be aggressive. They can then be befriended by anyone. Fade cannot share vision or understand the animals that he tames that he does not keep as summons.
His summoning pool can hold up to 3 animals currently and works in a peculiar way. When he de-summons an animal it turns into ink and goes onto fade as some sort of tattoo. When he summons them again the ink and the tattoo comes off him to reform the animal. If he de-summons an animal while it's hurt it can leave a laceration from minor to major where some of the normal tattoo would be. Once healed it heals both him and his summon. Should a summon die fade will start to feel ill until he ends up coughing up the ink inside him that kept them linked and allowed them to share vision.

Minor Skill(s):
Ink Manipulation- The ability to manipulate ink to his will. This includes being able to pull it out of things (aka books, clothes, skin), being able to put it on things, being able to manipulate it when it's already on the object, and being able to manipulate it in the air. He cannot make it solid however so if it is in the air and he stops it will lose it's form and fall onto whatever's below it. His ink manipulation he currently uses for alchemy purposes as well. The alchemy tattoo on his back he can change and manipulate to create different spells. However he currently only knows one spell which is a shield that can take up to 3 hits for himself with a cooldown time of a few turns.
Alchemy-
Shields (personal)- Fade has a spell that can be applied to someone via his ink manipulation. This spell when activated by either fade or the user will cast a temporary shield over them lasting 3 hits before it breaks. When the spell breaks the ink comes off and it has to be reapplied again to work
Shields (with friends)- similar to the personal spell this one can be applied to a single person or area such as the ground or if fade decides to concentrate enough to hold the ink in the air (which is a lot harder and doesn't let him do anything else) then in the air. This barrier is large enough to shield 3 fullgrown people (about a 7 foot width I think with everyone close) for 2 hits. Or two people at a moderate distance (7 feet) with 2 hits shared.
Emotional Influence- Fade has the ability to influence the emotions of the people around him. He has yet to be able to control this power fully making it an idle thing where (right now) if he's feeling something strongly the influence of that emotion spreads to the people around him by 5 feet in a circle. Aka if he's happy they start to feel happy, if he's sad the mood gets blue, angry they feel angry for some reason too, etc. It will be said in rp if he's feeling strongly enough for this to happen. Eventually if he gains good control over it it can be used for good things such as filling a party with determination.

Combat Style: Fade knows very little about the ins and outs of fighting himself. Currently during a battle marsh will be the one fighting for him and fade will use his shield on himself or run to a teammate or his summon if needed. Once he learns more this will be expanded.

History:
Fade was born in the harsh cold of Amber Region. His mother was married to his father who was a rich lord, hoping her family could get some kind of deal or status upgrade. What the lord didn't know was the woman was already pregnant, not by much, but enough that any consummation of marriage did not make the child his. Fade was a bastard, and though it was not immediately obvious to his father as he got a little older it soon became so. They moved to Diamond shortly after Fade turned 3, leaving him with little memory of what Amber region was ever like. However Diamond was much closer to his mothers family to her enjoyment.
Once Fade was found out to indeed not be his fathers child it outraged him. He first took it out on his mother, threatening her with different things as if it would somehow change what had happened. However he never did anything too harmful to her, for she was pregnant again, this time actually with his own child. He of course wouldn't put that in jeopardy. He needed some heir to take over the title of lord and though Fade was the oldest he wouldn't hand over that title while he was still breathing.
Fade didn't understand this when he was young. Bless the child's happy soul and with a power he did not even knew he possessed it kept his mother happier than she could be when around him. It wasn't until he reached near ten that he began asking questions. Why do I have a different last name from you both? Why does father never look at me but always plays with my little brother? Why doesn't he like me? His mother didn't want to tarnish the poor lovely soul of the boy but she couldn't hide it forever. When Fade started asking about his real father she never told him a name, never told him a description, just told him the personality, and that she was in love, and would always love Fade, no matter what her husband said or thought.
Because of their status he was still given a good education, one at home, but a good education... as far as general knowledge. Whenever Fade expressed interest in something such as alchemy or his ink manipulation his 'father' wouldn't allow him to study it. After all how can he let a son he hates become strong. Fade quickly learned to hide his interests, keeping it secret and only talking with his mother about it, he couldn't even risk talking to his brother without fear his 'father' might find out. This is how he ended up training his taming and summoning, just on small animals until he had gotten the hang of it and developed it well.
When he was 17 his mother gifted Marsh to him in secret. He was to keep him de-summoned when his father around so he would not get caught but bonded with the, at the time, kitten quickly. Marsh was one of his best friends...at 19 his mother allowed him to get the alchemy tattoo on his back, this, too, was kept a secret making it hard to practice any new spells at least he had one for defense if he ever needed it...
Now 21 his mother had heard of the school of Enhalo, quickly telling Fade about it she brought him to apply. If he was there he could learn without his 'father' hovering over him all the time. If he was there he could develop the potential she knows he has....
Overview:
Fade is a kid who has a lot of potential. Should he develop his skills enough they could do great things. Unfortunately for this 'fathers' distaste for him he was never allowed to have the proper materials to do so. Though well educated he was kept away from things to make him strong, leaving in his place a boy who was nervous about feeling too much and who never learned to fight. He has a great curiosity for new things and a desire to grow both his skills, and as a person.
