Description Playing with black and white again. I can almost get this camera to do what I want with it, but it is still a point and shoot. Not a lot I can do about that, except get a better camera some day.

This is the same bridge underpass with the batman graffiti on it. I really liked the handprint over in the bottom left area. It is a rust brown color--the same color as the river mud.

Indeed. There's a nice place about an hour northeast of Atlanta called Amicola Falls. It is very similar to the canyons found in this part of northern Arizona. I highly recommend Amicola if you get the chance. When I lived in Orlando, it was about a 10-12 hour drive.

Thank you for the encouragement. I started out with a hand-me-down 35mm that was wonderful, but fell prey to film advancement problems. As soon as I dig myself out from the crushing debt of a secondary education, I'll invest in a new camera. But for now, I'll use my current camera for everything it is worth.

Black and white = cool. <--I wonder if there's a cool icon. We'll see. Is that in feet, did you measure yourself?

Alas and alack, no cool icon. Thank you for the coolness comment though! Those measurements were painted on there alreay. Since I'm about 5'9'', I'd say they are in feet. My eyelevel is right around the 6' mark and I was standing on a rock.

Nice work. Almost looks like the deep south with the trees and rounded rocks. Aside from the water level markers, I'd never guess it was out west. Never stop experimenting! Use what you have to its fullest potential. I've been there, it was frustrating, but I finally broke down and got something with a manual mode, then an SLR.
