Yeah, you're right! I don't know if I am correct (I'm not a native English speaker), but for me the word "sketch" implies that the work is not taken really seriously and that's why I am always amazed when I see a beautiful drawing called "a sketch".

Sketches take me 1-2 hours but I still put a lot of effort into them, it just means I don't "refine" (detail) them
