Description Didn't know what category to put this in (as it's a still-life sketch of an animal skeleton) so I stuck it in sketch.

Anyway, this just goes to show what a loser I am. Basically, my friend did a biology course where she had to look at a bunch of skeltons. Odd as it is, I absolutely love skeletons so I went to all her labs with her so I could look at them (as if I don't spend enough time in my own labs o.O) Her labs were, by the way, on Friday afternoons. Am I pathetic or what? Anyway, I thought this one was in such I neat pose that I sketched it. Interesting backround texture was acheived by me going nuts with the contrast on Adobe. Cookie for you if you know what kind of animal it is.

EDIT: I just changed the category on this because I noticed that it wound up in my scraps when the scraps section was created. Since it's a finished piece, I'd rather have it in my gallery (sorry if editing it makes it pop up on anybody's watch!)

*wearing le monocle* Cat. Not wild cat. Wild cats have large heads and larger paws and are never oriental... except cheetahs, which have longer legs. GIVE ME A COOKIE <:U

Big cat but definitely not a lion. Maybe a cheetah due to the long spines?

i am going to have to go with a fox skeleton...idk.. i don't really look at skeletons much, so i guess i am not the authority on this subject! haha! I origionally thought that it was a cat, but then i studied the shoulder blades, and if it was a cat, the shoulder blades would be higher and cover the spine from the side. So anyway, my guess is a fox.

You were right the first time . It's a cat- its back is just arched really high. There was a fox skeleton in the lab too, but it was in a really boring position, so I went for the cat instead .

My guess is some sort of cat, or feline? Awesome job with the line art though.
