i've been on a bit of a hiatus from this account
i originally posted this to my doodle account but i actually like it so i moved it over here. i've kinda been rutted out and bummed with how far my art had gone from what i wanted to do with it and also the labour intensive factor. so i'm scaling it back and focusing on the elements that i want to develop. this paint-sketch-thing was actually the most relaxing and enjoyable thing i've done for a while, didn't get all hung up and ocd about insignificant shit, so i think i'm just gonna roll with it and see what i can develop.

ah ik i felt like such an idiot for just deleting it. thank you though i really enjoyed focusing on the movement and composition it was really satisfying. LOL i'm going to start subtly incorporating screentones in everything

haha ik kath. yeah it's a good feeling to be back to enjoying it. i think i got really wrapped up in making art to please other people and it became so labour intensive and detracted from the point. haven't had any time for it recently but it's been much better

this felt like such a natural fit and took so little time compared to the norm it was like A+ enjoyment for the first time AND i like the result???? /waits to be pulled out of the matrix
imma heed your advice and treat myself to some ink before i go back to school
i don't think i should even open photoshop for the next few weeks because of precious time but i'm sitting here on the edge of my seat waiting to do more D:
