Description Over 2k views! Yay! Thanks for at least looking at it!

Update 01/21/2012: After a long, long, long time of thinking of a way to somehow put the Safari and Chrome icons together, I finally found a way. I made a logo based on Safari's logo found somewhere on the Apple website, put it on there, and included the icon file with the theme Do tell me what you think of it!

Another Google Chrome theme- this time with an Aero version! Since I just got a Vista computer, I'll more than likely include an Aero version of my Chrome themes from here on out. And I will possibly add an Aero version to my previous ones, if I can get around to it.

This, as you can tell, is based on Apple's Safari design. I attempted to make the new tab page resemble Safari's "Top Pages" page, and of course some other things. And just because I thought it looked cool and I thought it was clever, I replaced the "chrome" you see at the bottom left corner with "safari" with its icon. So voila, there ya go, have fun with it, and please do comment!

PS: I don't feel like getting in trouble for infringing on copyright laws, so just in case, I don't claim to own the look of Safari or anything... yeah, I'm saying it wrong. (Again.) Oh well. You know what I mean.

Download it, extract the files, and open the .crx file with Google Chrome.

Nice, but a couple of things: is it possible to make this look even more like safari (forward and back buttons, remove favicons, etc.)?

And if by remove favicons, you mean take out the bookmarks bar, that's easy. Click on the wrench in the top right corner, and click on Options. Then de-select "Always show the bookmarks bar" and there ya go.

Yeah, it's possible. But thing is, you have to mod and replace one of its system files, chrome.dll, and you would have to do that every time Chrome updates, which I imagine would get slightly irritating at some point. That and, if Google updates the chrome.dll, the maker would have to take the updated chrome.dll and mod the thing all over again, then re-upload it, and I am not really the kind who likes to update something like that on a regular basis

Though if there were another way, like an add-on for chrome that would change the ui of chrome for you or something like that, that could work if someone made it. I would have no idea how tho.

Sorry if this disappoints you

It wasn't really my choice. A man let my dad have the computer, and my dad gave it to me. I made it look like 7 tho, so I don't have to bear too much shame
