There are many reasons why I like this shot. Technically it is nothing special, in fact it could be much better composed and I could have been lower to get a little more of the background.

But I like it because personally it was one of my first street shots that captured a moment and emotion. It also captures a moment that we can relate to, the honeymoon period of a relationship... and because we cannot see the couple's expression, I find that every time I view this picture I remember loved one's smiles.

thats so sweet!

when I look at this shot I see is a kind of, well you could call it, symbolism. To me it shows how people strive to change for love, even things that can't be changed like height, all in the aim to connect better with the ones we love.

but thats just me

that's cool... I never thought of it that way. But obviously it is up to interpretation which can change from person to person or even from time to time.

Cheers mate! I totally agree, more feet needed... I sat outside St.Pauls for about 30minutes waiting for a shot. I was about to give up and move on when I got this one, it was very spontaneous (read: accidental)... the frame is as shot, unfortunately.

haha, I meant frame is shot unfortunately for me... as in I wish it was bigger so i could have had the opportunity to crop down
