"Sargon, the emperor of Akkad and viewer of all he saw. With his great eye, he shall view the path to greatness and the might beetle will once again lend us his strength in defeating our enemies." - Painting on Akkadian Throne room

There lay many tales of a cyclopean figure, whose great eye helped them seek whatever goal they wanted. From the Cyclops in the Homer's odyssey to Polyphemus seeking Galatea, all were known as powerful, strategic musclebound creatures. However, all these tales spoke from one real life source that had been given a magnitude of different names. That creature was Sargon, the cyclops beetle. History has said that Sargon of Akkad was a powerful leader with no equal, unmatched by all. However, the texts and paintings didn't speak of a human emperor. Historians filled in the gaps, applying a human to such a creature for only humanity had been painted with such power and intimidation. Thankfully, this has allowed MONARCH in keeping Sargon under raps from the public much easier.
Sargon himself has rarely, of at all, hasn't left Akkad. The giant beetle slept beneath the city, a giant tomb made in his honor. There, paintings of several titans could be found as well as hints for their resting places. It was believed that perhaps, Sargon's tomb was meant to be a map for humanity. There, Sargon would point the humans in the direction of the titans in need of awakening. However, thankfully the amount of rock and debris made the beetle appear like a fossil instead of a giant beetle. Bio-analysis has always come back unable to determine, meaning that scans have not been able to determine whether Sargon has fallen to time or if he is merely sleeping.

2019 update
After Monster Zero (Hydrus mortem) had called the other titans, the fossilized beetle broke free from his prison. Terrifying MONARCH's operatives, who have believed Sargon to be dead, the giant beetle tore apart the ruins of the empire. Sargon then made his way to Mexico, tearing apart man and machine in his wake. A sudden surprise call to Boston, accredited to Madison Russel and the ORCA, sent Sargon fleeing back to his home. MONARCH has been unable to find him, though a large hole left near the ruins of the Akkadian empire may lead them to him eventually. His tomb has all but been destroyed, leaving no trace for any further potential titan recovery.
