Well, I wonder who'd make a better choice for a singing double:
1. Thurl Ravenscroft (Yes, I know he was white, but he was the closest bass to suiting James Earl Jones himself.)
2. Frederick B. Owens (He played Caiaphas in Gale Edwards' 2000 TV "modernish" adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar)
