Description
The concept of this artwork has been lingering in my head for months. The idea was based on Jim Caviezel as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern. The headshot i used wasn't my ideal choice, but since it is difficult to find a suitable image for certain pose, i had to settle with this and make the best out of it. The headshot was originally in low-res quality, as usual, i re-painted the whole things, adjusted the lightings and shades. The mask was a difficult job, i did all my best to make it looks like something that goes along with the face. Maybe it's just me, but i got the impression the face ended up look a bit like George Bush!I've been wondering why Hal Jordan wears white gloves instead of green. I was going to create my version with the green ones. But then i figured that is because the ring is green. It looks distinguish on white.
Tools : Poser 5.0, CorelDraw 12 and Photoshop CS with mouse.

this is very nicely done and your right about the glove it was easier to see the ring on, back in the good oh days, the images were blurry and of a poorer qaulity. Now day because the paper they now use is so much cheaper the clarity is higher. I like both hal and the new green lantern whose name slips my mind. Yes he does look like Bush.

Well i like his character. As to the movie I think a good person to play the part would be the guy who played Angel or even the guy who does the series break out and since hal is an older guy it should be the older of the 2 brothers of the series, sorry cant remember his name.

did you mean i model myself for the face in the artwork? nope, the face belongs to Jim Caviezel, the actor who played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ. He ended up look like George Bush Jr. hehe... Thanks!!!
