I like that they always have a story, and close moments and feelings, but that everything about their appearences keep changing, right up to their gender.

When you think about it too long, this page gets really tragic. Because, assuming the story will end with the two as adults in modern times...they both likely died out there on the battlefield. :T
The whole series going on here has me hanging off every page. Even though there's no dialogue, you can still tell the story...love it, please tell me you're going to post the rest eventually? I don't mind waiting for it. :>

It took me a moment to put two and two together when you said "about forty years ago" above the silent comic. I guess the souls are now inside two brothers in arm somewhere in the middle of a Vietnamese jungle by the river. It would certainly make sense with the attire they have on and the weapons. In the middle of war they're still there for each other.

I love how the pages are not only increasing in detail but also deepening in depth. The last page if I remember correctly was a story of admiration. This one, a story of not only encouragement, but brotherhood - the unique sort of brotherhood that war forms between people.

Everytime this updates it just keeps getting better. A beautiful tale of two souls and a pointy hat reincarnated throughout time. I love how it explores different kinds of relationships between the two souls, not just romantic ones.
