I dunno, but the way you drew Link here makes him look like the elfy-boy he is. I think that's wonderful, because Link is, after all, not human, so shouldn't he look more... elfy? Or I guess I should say "Hylian-y." But I hope you get my drift. And his hat. I love his hat. That bit of stitching looks awesome. <3

Yeah I think your right with him needing to look "elfy" cause thats the direction the original Zelda artwork was going. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out and your comment is very much appreciated, thanks!

Maybe it's the darker colors, or the background, but I saw this and I immediately thought: it's the NES Link! \o/

Everyone has said all I can say about the wonderful face, but I'd like to add that I love what you did with the clothes (especially the hat - it's the most believable design I've yet seen) and his hair. The whole style in general is gorgeous. Great job!

Reminds me of the medieval style portraits, which is very fitting considering the time Link was from.
