Description
After nights thinking,photo editing and sharing photos,joining forums and discussing with friends i finally came up with the right decision!Even though both of them has the ability to make my ovaries explode..One of them is the best & it's......ZUKO! Yep. it's Zuko! wanna know why?
Let's do a simple comparison:
Zuko:He was a banished prince,hated by his father and grandfather,lost his mother the only person that loves him in the world & he got scar from his father that marked him for life! And after all of that he lived with his uncle and found his own path.
Mako:His parents died from a firebender (Happened to almost everyone in the series) he lived his childhood as a hipster and protecting his younger brother (sounds interesting? Nope.)
Zuko:He was the Blue Spirit! He kicked more ass than Mako in his entire life even though he's only 16 (& Mako is 18) He have beaten the crap outta about 1000 firenation troops all by himself and without bending! And The Blue Spirit is one of the biggest criminals in the Fire Nation.
Mako: Plays Pro-Bending....kicked the asses of 3 pro-bending players all by himself.... (great...)
Zuko:He lived in forests and he became a firenation threat and his actually the prince...and he can still beat the crap out of them without his bending using only his swords!
Mako:Got his ass kicked by Equalists about 4 times...(and he passes out)
Zuko:He had 3 different hairstyles in the entire series (All of them looked sexy as hell especially in season 3)
Mako:His hair looks like he putted a whole gel bottle and conditioner on his hair & kept combing it for hours (his hair is okay)
Zuko:Had a self conflict which makes him look bad ass!
Mako:...."I lived to protect my brother and lived half of my childhood in the streets..." (Yep! He was a tramp)
Zuko:Has a scar which makes him look hot as hell and extra bad-assness!
Mako:he has a scar+f....from his father....
Zuko:He confronted his father and almost killed him (extra badass points)
Mako:His father is dead so i'll move on to the next comparison.
Zuko:He got blessed by a dragon! and he actually saw a dragon.
Mako: ....
Zuko:He got a girlfriend that gets wet whenever she sees him & he didn't give a shit except at the end of the series.
Mako: Dates Asami because she helped him in the tournament...(but,the avatar is wet for you!) "I don't give a damn!" (alright...keep being a jerk then!)
Zuko:Took a lightning bolt in his heart to protect a lady. (Katara)
Mako:Gets almost captured by an equalist....Asami & Korra helps him....
Zuko:HE'S A FREAKING PRINCE AND THE FIRELORD!
Mako:Former street hipster!...Pro-bending player.
Zuko:Self-conflicted.
Mako:Arrogant.
End of story! face it guys Zuko is hotter (he gets an extra point for his ultra sexy voice)
Mako is hot too but,Zuko is hotter i liked Mako at the beginning...but,then I hated him when he began being a jerk to Korra! I think he's arrogant and i don't like this...Remember at the (second or third episode i guess..) He made Korra join them because she helped them win the match...I think he's kinda like "I want money type" and i don't like that...He does'nt even like Asami (as much) as he likes Korra but,he's dating her because she helped him in the tournament...
Sorry guys it's my opinion! If you have another post it in the comments...
But,Think about it Zuko is better...

Well it depends.
I like Zuko because of his 180 turn in personality. (And because he got the same voice actor as Trunks from DBZ in Germany. God, I love that voice). His character development was catching, drom egoistic and evil to caribg and he gre friends with the Avatar team.
Mako on the other hand, I really like his design and the story behind his scarf. Also the fact that he is the big bro who wants to protect everything he had: his funny big little beother Bolin.
Both characters are completely different but certainly are nice ones in their own way.
But because of Iroh (I loved him so much) and his influence on Zuko, I'd say I go with the Fire Prince, now current Fire Lord.

Mako just comes across as a total tosser; he did and does laudable things in the grand Avatar tradition of not making it's characters perfect but he's just an annoying fuck. It's nice that he came into his own in season 3 and 4, but by that time the damage was done.
Zuko started out much the same, but Iroh was there to guide him, and occasionally take the piss out of him in a sly way that stopped him from getting too up himself. Plus the decisions Zuko had to make were far more difficult than Mako's "I can't choose between Korra or Asami."...Oh the agony of fucking choice.

My headcannon says that these two are actuall grandfather and grandson. That young Zuko had an illicit affair with Mako's grandmother, who's name escapes me at the moment, when he was in Ba Sing Se.

Ugh - I HATE Mako. Hated him from the very beginning. They tried to make a zuko clone (ergo the sexy fire nation bad boy) but his character is just absolutely shallow and pathetic. Zuko was a genuine bad guy who made actual mistakes over and over. His character had so much depth and his inner struggle formed much of the 'meat' of Avatar. Mako on the other hand...he's just an asshole. I mean, from the very beginning he treated Korra like crap for NO reason, and only turned nice after finding out she was the Avatar. Then when Asami gets upset about his relationship with Korra, instead of comforting her, he ditches her for Korra. He is just such an unbelievably superficial character. I really don't enjoy him at all. His personality is so unbelievable boring. When you do the 'badboy' thing halfway, it turns out so terribly fake. That's why Zuko was such a success - genuine and serious character flaws. Mako's flaws are that he's fickle and kind of a jerk. Oh wow. I'm in love.

Essentially, this is due to him ignoring Asami's feelings to hit on Korra and his wildly different characterizations from episode to episode.

Zuko obviously. I honestly don't like Mako. He's basically just a pretty boy, in my eyes. I never really liked Mako.
1. He's a complete jerk to Korra and everyone
2. He can't go for one episode without being in a relationship
3. He gets mad at korra after he kissed her back.
4. Mako never had any self-conflicts.
5. How did Mako find the Hair gel to keep his hair up, when they are practically poor???
6. Can't find a way to protect Korra
7. Starts dating Asami when Korra goes missing.
8. He can never decide between Korra and Asami (if i was a boy, I'd choose Korra)
Here's Zuko's comparison to Mako
1. He's a jerk in the first few episodes, but later becomes a fan favorite character, and has respect for everyone.
2. He doesn't need to be in a relationship 24/7.
3. He doesn't get mad at Jin when she kissed him.
4. Zuko has an internal struggle, and has to learn to find his own way.
5. Zuko doesn't dump an entire bottle of hair gel on his hair
6. Protects his girlfriend and says he's sorry for breaking her heart.
7. Doesn't date anyone while being banished.
8. Knows who to choose.

I feel Mako can't compare with Zuko.
Oh, and am I the only one who REALLY HATES KORRA? She is such a brat and a jerk and disrespectful, and a guy manipulator. I hope little kids don't look up to her. There are really no characters that kids can look up to this season, which is such a disappointment. I mean, Bolin is bad replacement of Sokka, seriously. Sokka was way funnier and could actually get serious when things were serious.
Characters I do like: Tahno: he was a jerk and a wimp, but you could tell he was a character that could grow and change, he actually reminds me a little of Azula.
Asami: She is such a strong person, and she has super genuine emotions. She is super relat able in my opinion, and the best role model of the show.
Amon: super deep character, would of liked to see more of him.
Oh, and what are these lies the show is telling about father Aang? Seriously, what's next, telling me Zuko ended up being a terrible ruler?
And lastly let me just say that they should of just made a show where the last Avatar ended, I have read the first book of The Promise, and I really loved the plot.

I used to like Korra but in Season 2 she became... a BITCH! I don't know why but she only wanted to do things her way and didn't listened other people advice!
I also love Asami

Thank you for this and I bet you would also be as mad as I was about this thing where people are saying that Mako is the reincarnation of Zuko and Korra is the reincarnation of Katara to make up to Zutara not happening. Uhm no... Korra is the reincarnation of Aang! Hense being the freaking avatar and Katara is NOT dead there fore it is IMPOSSIBLE and wouldn't it be more likely that General Iroh the second is the reincarnation of Zuko I mean they have the same voice actor.
