Over the weekend, I got to spend some time with a friend that I previously had only met online! It was such a nice experience and I hope to meet up with her again someday. ;0;I drew up a quick drawing for her since we spontaneously decided to meet up, and I’m so glad I did. She’s such a sweet person (she bought me a mug!!! Without being asked to!!!) and absolutely deserves way more watchers on her social media. ;0;

The mane gradient was honestly probably one of my favorite parts to do; it was a little difficult for my blending tool but once I figured out the "right way" to do it the mane came out so nicely!
The wings were actually reffed a little bit from your own wing art and various birds. ;0; Wing folding is still a little "????" to figure out sometimes, but they look SO NICE when they're in a pose that looks like it could be possible if the character existed as-is irl!!

Wing folding can be super weird to draw bc there's a lot you have to visualize in your head!

Gosh, and mental visualization is definitely a weakness of mine! ;^; I definitely prefer being able to use references, especially when I can physically touch/“rotate” when possible. Wing folding is something that still eludes me most of the time, but I think lots of practice is definitely paying off!
