I love watching how other people create art. Each person starts out differently, and it's amazing watching it take form. It starts with just a simple line, and from there it slowly takes shape. For example, while drawing forward facing people, I always start with the right jaw, then I sketch down to the chin, and then the left jaw. From there, the cheek bones, the eyes, the nose, eyebrows, lips, hair, neck, shoulders, and then I finish up with the hair, and then move onto the chest, and then the forearms, etc. etc.
Yet to be able to start with the back of the neck and the ear, and build a head up from that is truly amazing!
