amg you guys will get a break from me at last after this i'll be rly inactive a while.Β here's a dump of stuff from mah personal project thing that i just loooossssstttt patttieeencceeeee with hnggggg! Anywhere between the last few weeks to mid 2013 I'd say?
oh ya n storyboard stuff at the top were between 5-15 min sketches for scenes to get an idea of the flow of mood
because that's something i've had issues with in the past :'D

This is a really frickin epic dump of stuff. I can't stop looking at it ugh I keep scrolling up and down LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF.
I really, really love the characters doing stuff. I enjoy seeing characters going about their daily lives, just doing what they do, like walking through the snow or sitting on a wall. Also Ren and Indi are adorable together.
And the scenery! And the interiors omg THERES A KITCHEN. I get excited over these things lol maybe someday I can draw these things too. :'D Actually, do you have any tips on backgrounds or setting up a scene? That's something I would really like to do better.

OH YAY IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. I love seeing charries when they're not in the whole "picture perfect" scenes xD but I feel like no one else likes them so I've never thought about submitting them!Β

hmmm tip-wise for setting up scenes... honestly I go 99% of the time by intuition, but recently I've found most of my pics are by the Rule of Thirds :3
just play around with things, basically. Put a couple things on different layers and shift them about until you're satisfied ~
idk honestly, there's definitely better tutorials around dA! but that's just my two cents :'D

Ah man I would love it if you uploaded more stuff like this. I think other people would appreciate it too. I mean, everyone sees picture-perfect characters in their inbox, but seeing them "in situ" would be unique, and a great way to not only look at your beautiful art but see more of what your characters are all about. And that's why I wanna do stuff just like that, I wanna show my characters being people and not models. c;
I go by intuition a lot too... problem is I don't always know how to build a scene from imagination. But I guess it's good start with the basics, and draw from some photos.

Thank you so much mannn hahaohno I don't think I will ever be able to finish it HOWEVER it definitely gave me some huge respect for all people that make animations because...patience *falls into a hole*
it's like...you spend 2 hours on a picture that people will only see for 0.2 seconds
BUT IT MAKES ME RLY HAPPY THAT YOU LIKE THE LITTLE BITS THAT ARE FINISHED

I know, anything involving drawing things over, and over, and over again is usually killer ahck
But I've thought about that too, and came to the conclusion that, if it's good enough, people are going to watch it over and over again justΒ to see that one frame anyway, OR super smart idea: you could just factor in a pause button in Flash!! :>Β That way, it could still be animated (if you didn't want a click-through comic instead), but people could pause whenever they wanted to stare at frames for hours. QDQ
But yeah everything you did, even if it isn't going to be 'finished', is still awesome. ;D

Yeah, I know them feels. Clouds can be quite annoying, although personally I find trees even more so. What you have on it so far looks great though!
