Wish: "My only wish is to exist in this world..."
Having been locked away for many, many years with no one to talk to has made Nowan uncontrollably worried about her own existence. The very thought that no one seems to know that she exists makes her paranoid. She would say that "the worst thing about loneliness is that it tends to make you forget your name - because you cannot remember your name if there is no one to call you by it." She joins Circus Darkrai after Mr. Dark had promised to help her become famous. Sadly, however, her secretive nature, her habit of keeping things to herself and unwillingness to share any information about herself makes it difficult for people to relate to her and prevents her from becoming well-known. To her dismay, she is only known and remembered by very few in the circus.

Personality:
"I am not stubborn, just persistant." Due to the nature of her upbringing Nowan has no fear when facing dangers and challenges, willing to take risks, unafraid to stand up against any adversary, is very cunning, and finds it difficult to give up or give in. Her calm demeanor masks the fiery spirit of a figther strengthened by a life of hardships. She can be easily ill tempered at times, especially when her friends are victims of mistreatment, and has a knack to start fights which she hardly ever backs down from. Finally, she can be quite vengeful and merciless. Very bold by nature, she loves going against the norm and may often be seen doing things in direct contrast to all those around her and making herself stand out from the crowd - like wearing revealing clothing of a different colour from the others, reading while eating, sleeping on top of the train at night under the stars (when the train is not on the move or when it is not raining or snowing), or dancing on tables. Because of the crystals sticking out of her chest and back as well as the fact that she does not like heat, her clothes are usually revealing or skimpy. She may seem naughty but she is actually very reserved. She does not like revealing any information about herself to others and prefers to be mysterious, hence her self-given secondary name. She is happiest when in the company of those she calls friends. Her greatest weakness is that she becomes terribly paranoid when people do not acknowledge her existence, and this may force her to take unwise actions.

History:
Nowan was born to a poor family. At the age of 6 she was taken away from her parents by a very rich family and locked in a factory owned by said family, where she was forced to work for them till she dies.
Despite all the hard work she commmits in the factory no one regarded her pressence, and with the family members who owned the factory keeping their child labouring a secret no one else even knows that she exists. The thought of that no one knows she existed, along with her lack of freedom, sudden separation from her family, and loneliness left a terrible impression of the world to poor, young Nowan. And although she had a strong will to carry on, the hardships she faced made her suffer from terrible depression which lasted many years. It was during this moments of weakness when she heard a darker calling.
A voice from nowhere offered to help her with her plight. It told her what needs to be done, and how. With virtually nothing to lose, Nowan agreed to listen to the unknown voice and did as she was told.
A few days later, the both the factory and the owners' family home had been struck by fire. Everything and everyone within, including the family who owned the factory and house, perished in the flames. Nowan, heeding the voice's directions, survived - and escaped without anyone noticing. She was free and the first thing in her mind after that was to return to her family's open arms.
She ran all the way back to her home, where her family are, ignoring how badly injured and exhausted she was from her journey back home.
At last, she had returned to her home. But what layed before her eyes shocked her. Her parents were no longer poor. Their house looked new again, refurbished and renovated, decorated with expensive new items.
Unable to believe what she was seeing, Nowan heard the unknown voice again. This time, it told her to use her telekinesis to 'venture' into her parents' memories. Normally, such skill is impossible for most Pokemon but some other power was at work at that very moment. Nowan gazed into her parents' memories and, to her utmost horror, saw the whole truth. She was not taken away from her family - her own parents had sold her off to the factory! And in order to keep their mouths shut, the rich familly had been paying her parents sums of money over the years. They had been living in luxury while she had been imprisoned and working like a slave in a factory! They never even came to look for her!
Overwhelmed by anger and grief, Nowan decided to do something monstrous. She hid herself and waited. And waited. She waited until night came and her parents went to sleep. Then, in the cover of darkness, hatred burning in her heart and soul, she set their house on fire the same way she did to the rich family's factory and home, killing them.
But suddenly, Nowan was overcame with realization - she had killed everyone who knows her, the only ones who knew of her own existence. She is now alone, and no one knows she even exists. She has become a nobody, destined to fade away from existence.
It was at that very moment when she felt a hand press on her shoulder, and heard a familliar voice - that same voice which had been telling her what to do. Standing beside her was a Darkrai dressed in an elegant attire like a gentleman, looking down upon her.
"So you wish to exist? You wish for the world to acknowledge your existence? Come work for me, my lady, and the whole world shall know your name," says Mr. Dark.
