✠ Physically not trained; take her on a marathon and she'll collapse after some laps.
✠ Disruptive Images Syndrome; basically glitches in the brain's right hemisphere, where image and sound perceptions repeat itself for a short period of time, several perceptions were duplicated (undermined order and frequency) and overlaps the ongoing perceptions being received. Basically it's like watching/hearing past events again without stopping receiving stimuli at the same moment. Appears to occur occasionally without any trigger.
❦ -PERSONALITY----
Motherly | Calm | Friendly | Courageous | Kept-back
Stega carries around a calming atmosphere most of the times, quite soft-spoken and even prone to being quiet. Within a conversation where she happens to be there somehow, she would listen to the talks while doing her knit, with an opened manual book in front of her - or instead reads a poem book. It doesn't mean that she tends to distance herself, on the contrary she pays attention in her own, quiet way. She does give comments every now and then, when she thinks it is needed.
She is mostly welcoming and friendly. She would take care of you (in a good, motherly way) to a certain extent even if you don't ask. Wears her light little smile always. A good listener, passably a fair advisor, a loyal secret-keeper. Her opinion about social and relationship matters are often distorted, referring them to mortality and/or materials, and sometimes even makes /terrible/ jokes about it. Though feeling no problems in stating them, she does realise it might bring but uneasiness to others, which, she does her best to avoid.
Though having rather bizarre thoughts at times, she communicates quite easily and casually. She keeps her own things and thoughts to herself, being more interested in others' - wouldn't stick her nose into personal things unless the other person is willing to share about it. Likewise, it won't hurt to ask for hers, but know that she probably won't describe about it long. Knows when a joke is directed as a joke, and when it is not.
Prefers working in the background, but when no one is willing to take charge when it is needed, she would not hesitate to take the place. Rarely feels threatened when exposed to various things and situations. Finishes whatever she's working on. Very independent and proud; tends to help people but rarely allows them to help her.
It is not unusual that people finds themselves being sleepy in her company due to her silence (and perhaps the fragrance she uses).
❦ -HISTORY----
Told to having been born by a Chinese mother and a Russian father, Stega minded not of her origins as she was taken in by an old couple of Latin-Americans at the age of one. She attended private schools and later took Biology for her main subject. Got into a prestigious university where she had the chance to explore more of her interest for living and dead things, being terribly diligent and somewhat workaholic she quickly exceeded anyone's expectations and became a doctor at the age of 24. Later on she proceeded with a research over the water and insects in South Africa. At that time, the place was shaken by local wars, but with her band of enthusiastic assistants, plus the confidence of parrying it all as research doctors, they would spend day by day in a sort of vacation house located in the outskirts, that served as well as a small laboratory.
One hot day, a group of protestants came and took her from her research house, and put her and her assistants into a truck. The country was rampaged with local wars between the government and the protestants, she knew it from a debate that always appeared on local TV. However then in the outskirts did she know that governmental troops often oppressed the rebels to 'cease' the protests down. Arriving at what seemed to be refuge camps the protestants then explained their purpose. They simply were in urgent need of medic. They would feed her and provide her needs, but in change of her medical service. Seeing her knowledge would be put into a good use (that, and because she had no better choice), Stega agreed to help.
Days were busy with treating patients, all being brought in so abruptly by a truck or two, she and her assistants grew accustomed to their newly-founded fast-paced activities. A bond of trust later grew between the foreign doctors and local protestants and their families. It had come to the point of locals teaching Stega their traditional songs and dances, even ways to handle firearms. She thought the exploded noise was always startling and she would yip whenever she tried firing; then the locals would laugh, and she would, too.
After a couple of months, the States finally demanded their doctors back safely. Unwilling to trigger an international affair, the leader of local protestants agreed to let them go, though wearily. By that time, Stega and her assistants had taught them some ways to give first aids, and even held mini-classes so they could tend themselves when the time comes, but then with them leaving, the morale of the group shrunk. Nevertheless, the band of doctors left accompanied by some armed protestants.
Arriving by the place, what waited them were governmental troops. Sensing something was wrong, Stega told the protestants to keep their guards up. But it was futile; soon after she was handed, the troops began shooting the protestants. Her assistants fell victim to that ambush, Stega barely living by hiding herself under the corpses of her assistants. During the conflict Stega could heard one of the troops gaining a report that said to have found the protestants' whereabouts, and thus proceeded with their plan. The sound of gunfires she had come to love ricocheted upon her new family, and she was there, hiding like a good kid she was. Watching the troops as they work. As they… work.
It was rather strange for she had never felt such driving sensation within her, and a too-realistic burning feeling flared down her back, just around the coccyx. In a matter of second, one troop lost his head. Then another one got his hands chopped off. She didn't see anything that made them so, but whomever she gazed would lose parts of their limbs. Afraid by this strange realization then she kept her eyes closed and played dead.
Long story short, she was found unconscious by one of the troops, and was taken back to the city. Shortly after, she was returned to Latin America. Apparently her parents had passed away a couple of weeks earlier due to robbery. Attaining the rest of the wealth, she moved to Russia on a whim with the hope of starting everything anew. She bought a small house and made herself a self-proclaimed florist, and lived the days quietly.
It was after the constant nightmares that she discovered the tattoo down her back, since they relived the flaring feel she had felt back then. It was definitely not a birthmark. Yet she had heard nothing about it from her adoptive parents. They had had been quite enclosed, even to her, and usually she would not mind it. Except for this one matter, a small part of her wondered if they had known anything about it at all.
Unlike any casual days, one afternoon a young man took his time by her flower shop, and the two ended up in a conversation of what first sounded like a mere legend to her. The young man, namely Lavka as he introduced himself later, was young and bright, yet Stega could sense something enormous inside of him- something that drew her in to finally coming to believe that she was none other but a Magus, and that he was a Duce, and about the whole Verde and Shards thing. When he asked her to join forces with him, she quickly agreed.
Despite being entertained by the idea of coming from and going to a parallel world, she wasn't driven of finding ways to return to Verde; it was probably more to fulfill her thirst of oddities, since that fateful day in South Africa. She had nothing more to lose or worry about, and took it as a new adventure.
TL;DR version:
Said to have Russian-Chinese heritage → Got adopted and lived in Latin America → Became a doctor → Research in South Africa → Oops something went wrong → Went back to Latin America, bye Pa bye Ma → Became a florist in Russia → "omg I have a strange tattoo" → Lavka came and she joined his forces

✠ Lavka --- Say she's charmed, she trusts this younger lad and is prone to spoil him somewhat.
✠ …?
❦ -ADDITIONAL INFO----
✠ She mostly helps out as a doctor.
✠ Claims herself as a florist, yet having no idea of how to take care of flowers...
✠ Somehow it feels as if she doesn't value her own life. Which is true.
✠ Still having difficulties controlling her magic, she wears a ring on her right middle finger; it acts as a limiter and to focus her magic to her gun instead launching it by a mere look.
✠ Not the best shooter, but is able to use handguns and rifles well. Her aims aren't so good so far; her attacks (abilities) are prone to miss the target
✠ Reflects smiles; as smiling is considered differently in Russia, it is the most convenience way in her opinion.
✠ Some acquaintances had described her as 'ghostly', as she barely makes sound/noise in whatever she does.
✠ Might take her time responding to your inquiries, or even ask you to repeat due to her Weakness.
✠ Stepping into her room is like stepping into a DIY store. Lots of earthen wares and dried plants decorations, paper scrolls, and DIY room miniatures, with soft fragrances of grass or flowers. If you leave her alone in your room for an hour or so, she'll probably make yours like that too.
✠ Perfumes often choke her; she uses flower/plant-scented sprays instead. (Usually uses either Jasmine or Lavender) Brings them in mini spray bottles in her small bag so she can spray everyone.
✠ Her name came from the word "steganos" ("protected", Greek), which may or may not be coincidental with her ability.

Did you know that the name MacGumerait is a variant of Montgomery? (or rather the opposite)
I couldn't draw her gun for now but it looks more or less like a regular handgun ;;
Disruptive Image Syndrome is made-up by the way!
