So this is like a memorial painting, huh? It's definitely a shame that such a beautiful horse died. I can only imagine how much the owners must've loved her. Anyhow, this is just one more amazingly well don painting to add to your long, long laundry list. All of the details are always so perfectly, especially on the animals - and especially what seems to be your specialty, horses. The horse looks so tranquil and peaceful, but I'm sure that had a lot to do with having her hair brushed in the original photo. Regardless, you captured it perfectly and I can't think of how it could've been done any better. =]

aw thank you the photo quality wasn't the best on the reference so it was a bit harder to do than usual, so I'm glad it turned out good.

I love the light coloured mane - i don't know why but the purples you put through it are just eye catching!! I love the combination of colours here too - the purple and green and brown are stunning. Really realistic reins too! I just love this. You're brilliant, so glad to see more work from you!

I draw quite often, but I rarely finish anything. I lack motivation and confidence, actually its mostly confidence haha. And skill. So, I draw, but I don't know if I'll ever put it up like I used to.
