Description
Day 4 of training was unproductive with Delilah being bed ridden for the next couple days. On the doctor's order's she wasn't to leave the house for at least 48 hours, so Fortune was turned loose into the pasture, and left to fend for himself while Delilah recovered from her many injuries.

Of course, Fortune seemed to be perfectly fine out in the pasture until that night when fireworks began to go off in great numbers all around him. He reared and squealed most of the night, warning the flashes of light that if they came near him they would surely die. He challenged each and every one that night, working up a thick layer of lather and sweat that covered most of his body.

Delilah got little to no sleep between the pain of her injuries, and the stallion's loud battlecrys. It only deepened her newly kindled hate for the stallion.

Well not much else to say on this particular piece. I am quite pleased with how it came out, but I know I still have not followed all of my new rules I received in a critique. Don't worry, I am not ignoring you I promise, it is just a lot to take in all at one time. Please give me a chance to adjust.
