"Breathing in and out, getting the feel of how to pull air in, these are the first steps to understanding how to create vacuums outside the body."

Reading about how to practice wind magic, and writing down some idea, she got curious and decided to look at other forms of magic.

She flipped thought page after page, skimming as she went.

"Talking to plants...That sounds cool."

"Calling Snow. MorMor can do that. Would be kinda cool to do that too."

"Freeze objects...That could be used to torment Inwien and Mocha."

She giggled and flipped the page.

The sight that greeted her peeked her interest.

"Lightning magic?" She whispered out loud, then read the page.

"Very energetic, Lightning users keep busy. Hey, That's like me. They’re great at multitasking and brainstorming. Again, me. Some of the most innovative minds are drawn to lightning." She looked up from the book.

"Huh...Lightning magic."

She looked back to the book and read the abilities able to be learned.

"Static, that could be fun. Generate electricity? Magnetism?? Ball lightning?!" Kia's tail wagged. "This sounds amazing! I should learn this!"

She grinned and flipped back a few pages.

"To learn Lightning magic, one must be fluid in Wind magic, Done that, and...

fire...

Magic..."

Kia shivered and grabbed the book. "No way!" She said, then moved to close it.

But, she hesitated.

Kia opened her eyes and looked to the book.

She couldn't be serious!

"I'm not seriously considering this am I?!" She whispered, setting the book down, open to the magic page.

' But...I've been trying to conquer my fear...'

'But this is different!'

'But..I would be the one controlling it.'

'Could I even do that?!'

'Would that help my fear or make it worse?!'

'Would I still fear others using the magic?!'

'Why am I even considering this?!'

Kia was shaking now, with tears running down her face.

She had to talk to someone.

Wiping her eyes, she grabbed the book and raced outside
