It had been weeks since Kia last spoke to Novo, before he finally showed back up.

Kia rushed over as soon as she saw him. "Novo!?"

The gro appeared to smile and faced her.

"Well, your case was a friendly challenge." He said.

Kia felt her heart sink. "A-and?"

"It took quite a bit of searching, and experimenting....but..." He reached into his bag and pulled out a vile filled with black liquid.

Kia looked surprised and shivered.

"Now, this is just a test," Novo warned. "So there is no guarantee, but this should give you a temporary sense of smell. Though, I must warn you. The taste is incredibly unpleasant, so I would drink it as quickly as you can. I can't make it taste any better, as that helps shock your system. And for a while you will feel nauseous as your body adjusts to the sensory overload, so keep your nose covered to help with that. This is only temporary, but if it works it should give you smell for up to a week. If it works well, we can set up something as a medicine." He finished, looking to Kia.

Kia stared at the vile, tears running down her face. She shivered and reached for it.

Novo held it back, holding out his other hand. "I believe we had...an agreement?"

Kia nodded and reached in her pocket, pulling out one of the glowing crystals that she and Dash had gotten.

Novo accepted it and handed the vile over. "Be sure to tell me if it works alright?" He asked politely.

Kia nodded and stared at the vile.

This was it....

She shook a moment, then rushed home.
