i've read that in the comics he got them from his school's drama department, or possibly his old larping costumes

Actually, you'd be surprised at just what looksΒ you can replicate effectively withΒ just a handful of items you can get at a craft store; my mom and brotherΒ had a few lessons aboutΒ making cosplay at the last convention my family went to and my brother made one hell of a realistic-looking gun out of foam and some paint and Mom is now a master of zombie make-up (turns out the most unusual things one needs for such cosmetics is face paint and liquid latex, but theΒ everything else is standard everyday stuff [like paper towels]). So it'sΒ not so far-fetched that he could make a costume with a metallic design on it.Β Β Β

visually, sure. but it would also have to be durable enough to stay on while he's swinging around New York

Here's the reason I always hated the man-made web shooters, the writers in shows and comics use it as a crutch. Spiderman needs to catch someone or chase after someone and BOOM he just happens to be out of web fluid so they get away or something. The organic web shooters don't have that problem.
Also if you can buy that a radioactive spider biting someone gives them the power to climb walls, strength, speed, spider sense, etc. but the bite also giving Peter organic web shooters is just too much?!

Dragonrider1227 [2014-05-31 02:54:58 +0000 UTC]
The organic web shooters didn't bother me but I did find it strange that some college kid was able to make a costume with metallic webbing. One of the reasons I liked the suit in Amazing Spider-Man. Actually looked like something a High School - College kid would put together.

I liked Raimi Movies. Mostly the second one.
The third one? well, Emo-Parker dumbed it down to me.
The first Marc Webb movie? - A Better Peter Parker, but the spider-man was awfull, but i put my coins in the second movie,it looks from the trailers that he learned with his mistakes.

It's believable, I also made a spider man costume at my home only it looked nothing like that.

That's what I'm saying. I can believe that he made a Spider-Man costume at home. I CAN'T believe that he made THAT Spider-Man costume at home.

No, I just they strayed from the source material a little too much. I mean, despite the limited screentime, Venom's face was kickass!

Wanna know something about spider-man 3?
π: 0 β©: 1
ImaKaijuFan2 In reply to ImdaBatman [2013-03-27 00:54:05 +0000 UTC]
Well there was like a large amount of scenes that were deleted in the final cut for example.
1.Eddie brock/venom had more screen time in the film where during the key to city scene he was infront of the crowd when gwen kisses spiderman, then after he gets fired by JJ he goes to a bar gets drunk and goes to gwens house for comfort but ends up being a break up,And during the final fight he was suppose to have a one on one fight with harry not counting the one where he kills him
2.More black spidey moments,You know those pictures peter gives to jj in the black suit?Well in a deleted scene the montage where emo peter dances in the street was going have black spidey swinging around new york and fighting crime instead of the shots of emo peter flirting with the girls and chris rock was gonna have a cameo where black spidey landed on top of a taxi saying"Yo spidey when did you go black?!"
3.Alternative symbiote discovery?Yes the script did call for the whole jj's son finding the symbiote in a metor and bringing it back to earth when his ship goes hey wire and spidey rescues him just like in the cartoon! But due timing in the film sony told rami to cut it out and just go with the discovery they did in the original film where it just comes to earth and that's it.
4.Alternative venom and sandman meeting,During shooting they done a scene where sandman is turned into a sandcastle at the beach and his daughter happens to go play and after a few mins her mom tells her it's time to go and penny looks back the sandcastle was gone and after they leave eddie approaches sandman and explains everything like in the original film except it's day time and he's in his regular clothes but black
There was like alot of good stuff that was cut out due to sony's greediness and to find out more that was cut out just sreach spider-man 3 deleted scenes and there'll be alot of websites deciated to this along for a spider-man 3.1

1. Makes sense. They're both anti-Spider-Men in their own way.
2. I like that guy. He's funny.
3. Well, that's better than just some random meteor crashing down.
4. Cool. Something like that happened in the "Spectacular" series.
In the words of Professor X, "you'd be surprised how many good ideas never make it to the printed page".

Funny you should say that, because Blue Beetle (Ted Kord, the second one) used to have a similar problem with the remote control in his glove for the Bug aircraft.

Yeah, I know. Amazing Fantasy #15, Spidey's first appearance. I just referred to Ultimate more because it's set in a more realistic tone, which is really the whole point of it.

I always thought that Venom and Carnage differ drastically. While is motivated by personal revenge, Carnage is a psychopath who kills for kicks.

Did you know Carnage could do that "tentacle-morph attack" thing before Venom?
