First and foremost, the chess game between our days human and wild ape (now it's a gorilla) is always an open theme for discussion. It suppose to show us the human evolution and the superiority of our kind over any other living creature on Earth! Nevertheless, one interesting detail is that monkey is always leading in the game...
This conception was used as a base of the picture and together they worked very well! This painting has so many details in it and all of them are worked out very good, especially the hair of the ape, I even can imagine how soft it could be only by looking on this drawing! Continuing to talk about this gorilla I want to note the facial expression full of intelligence and awareness of what happens!
Well, the drawing is just outstanding and in the same time attractive because of that "Brain Ring" and by itself it is very nice. All my respect for the artist!
