Branchkit was born alongside Wildkit, Dragonkit and Horizonkit to Starlingfeather. Branchkit takes to his mom quickly, and almost never leaves her side. Branchkit enjoys the company of all the kits in the nursery, but finds it hard to make friends outside his own litter.

Raccoons attack the camp, and this causes a lot of problems. Wildkit and Horizonkit try to leave, but Starlingfeather rescues them just in time. Branchkit and Dragonkit end up helping keep their brothers closer to the nest to Starlingfeather can focus on keeping the nursery safe.

Rapidstar comes to their camp, and requests an alliance. Although Branchkit isn't old enough to vote yes or no, he votes they fight with their neighbors to make better friends and have more hunting land.

||Apprentice||
Not long after it is decided they will fight alongside Cloudclan, should it be needed, Branchkit is made an apprentice alongside his littermates and the JaggedFeather litter. Branchpaw's mentor is Featherlily, a former Stoneclan cat. Although he had heard of Stoneclan and it's fall, he isn't really sure how to feel about the former Stoneclan cat.

He ends up wondering into the neutral zone, where he meets Blossompaw, a Lightningclan apprentice. Although he is cautious with her at first, the two decide to meet again. This continues on for many moons, despite his better judgement, and the two become closer and closer.

Branchwhisper is finally made a warrior, and he's incredibly proud of all his littermates. While he admits he's not as close to them as he was, he is still deeply caring of them and wishes them good health. He hopes they continue to get closer and don't stay away from each other.

Branchkit's dual toned gaze watched Starlingfeather's every movement as she groomed his littermates. Dragonkit had gone first, and now Wildkit was taken second. Wildkit was trying desperatly to break away from his mother's grasp, pleading and squirming, but Starlingfeather had a secure grip on him. Branchkit figured his brother would be happier when they were old enough to clean themselves. He wondered if Wildkit would be the cleanest out of them all, despite his name.

Branchkit bounded up when Wildkit slumped away from their mother, eagerly awaiting his bath.

"My turn next, right, ma?" Branchkit mewed, already pawing his way into her front paws. Branchkit wasn't too big a fan of baths, but he was a big fan of Starlingfeather and spending time with her. "Look, I even cleaned my tail, all by myself, see?"

Despite the kit's best efforts though, his tail still remained a mess, just now a slobbered mess.

"I can see you tried, but we'll work on it later." Starlingfeather replied, hushing Branchkit as she began his bath.
