Last nights sketch card. My daughter asm me to draw her a mouse, so I tought of one of my favorite comic book of all time: Moue Guard! If by any chance you haven't read Mouse guard or don't know it, it was created by David Petersen. Stunning artwork and an amazing story. I had the chance to meet Mr.Petersen 2 years ago in Toronto, one of the nicest guys I ever met. Had a commission too, I let him do whatever he felt like doing. He came up with this amazing drawing of a Mama mouse getting water at the river. Here's the link to the drawing if you're interested in seeing it.[link]

Excellent pic and yes, Mr. Petersen is so cool! After signing both of my son's Mouse Guard books, he even drew him a quick lil' pic in the books too! And I checked out the link, outstanding!

I think he appreciated the fact that I let him do whatever he felt like doing. I was blown away when I went and pick it up at the end of the day. I saw the other drawings he drew, they were all gorgeous. But mine was the most original!
