I know what you mean! Kind of in the process of a career change. Is it hard to keep a job in comics? Do you still have to send samples here and there?

I wish I could do that but haven't had any luck Yeah it usually isn't steady, unless you get a miniseries (where they want to keep all the art the same) but even that ends eventually lol. Yeah always gotta keep myself on everyone's radar.

I'm sure people would've like to have a sketch from you. Maybe you did and I didn't pay attention lol! If that's the case, I'm sorry! I get so sucked in when I draw, kind of forget what's around me.

Euhm, I guess I didn't draw as much at the FanExpo for a couple of reason, the biggest beeing that I was there to help promote Expired Comics, which I just joinedas an artist a little while ago. Also, as it was my first Expo I found it overwhelming both as a nerd and as an artist. There are a staggering amount of good artists in one tight vicinity so it definitely gets your inner critique rolling. It's a roller coaster between inspiration and harsh criticism artistically. 

I also very much understand you about zoning out while drawing. Best therapy ever.

I understand completely! It's hard not to critique yourself in a place like this. But at the same time it is very inspiring! Don't let it get to you, we're all there for the same reasons. We are not there to judge or to be judged. We all go there because for four days we get to be who we are and show what we're capable of. We are there to be inspired and to inspire others. It is scary at first, but I think it pushes you to be better, to get you out of your comfort zone. But that's just me, I haven't been doing these conventions for a long time, every time I get out there I try to bring something new to my art.

Sorry for the late reply, been doing cards all week. Trying not to miss my deadlines, and preparing for Montreal Comiccon. Hope to see you guys out here, this year should be a great one too.
