Made in part for 's contest and in part for spreading the word about the oil spill.

Millions of gallons of oil are wreaking havoc in the Gulf of Mexico. Seamen have lost jobs, people were killed in the explosion, animals are dying left and right, and one of my favorite things, the ocean, is suffering.

The ocean has helped me quite a bit and I want to do all I can to help her in return. She helps me when I am afraid to speak; she cannot speak for herself right now, so I intend to help get her message across.

Please help the ocean, who provides jobs, food, transportation, and is responsible for the founding of countries. For the people who cannot relax and enjoy the beach, help. For the dolphins, turtles, whales, fish, crabs, jellyfish, sharks, snakes, birds, alligators, manatees, and all other animals, please help. For your children, who may never be able to enjoy the beach because of this, help. For you planet, the only home you have, help. And for all of those who cannot speak for themselves, help. Please.
