Well, THIS is pretty old. I made this mask as part of my final for my 3D class in fall semester of last year. Just never got around to submitting it, I guess
The final was a 3-part project, and I ended up doing things related to birds. I dunno if I'll ever submit the others, since this was my favorite of the 3.
This owl mask was supposed to represent wisdom, and that even when things may be old, they are really even more beautiful.
This was made out of cardboard, duct tape, feathers, model magic, paint, silver paper, random metal objects/ found objects, chain, etc.

would u make a tutorial sometime 4 how to make these plz? tuz i've been thinkin bout makin another mask, but the last one i made i made n art class so we had one of those plastic things (lol i'm always sooooooo good w/ words lol) and we just put the paper mache on that, but i dont have 1 nao

Wowee! I have been in the process of making myself a costume.. I think you will like it. I hope to have it done before halloween, so I can wear it to a rave I'm going to. Actually, maybe I can even get a bit of input from you on how to finish designing my mask!
