I used to overlook this character as "one of the new ones"
..But, after awhile he grew to become my favorite once I realized that the Reyes version of Blue Beetle
is pretty much DC's Spider-Man mixed with Iron Man and even Venom (He's bonded to an alien with violent tendencies.)
But, I shouldn't be too surprised, given that Steve Ditko (Spider-Man's co-creator)
has been involved with the character's publication history.
