DISCLAIMER: This here long-winded stamp expresses everything I think and feel about this topic. I'm not here to cause a shitstorm, but to basically express all the pent-up thoughts and opinions I can't share with my small-minded family because if I do, I'll be fumbling around trying to find my head after they lop it off and kick it into next week... all while crying, "THE BIBLE SAYS SO."

I know it's been a little while since this all went down, but believe it or not, my family is still bitching about it.

STILL. BITCHING.

Now let's be clear: I'm a Christian. I won't splatter my worldview on a public forum for everyone to see, but my worldview doesn't matter. What does matter is the fact that there are people out there who are still complaining about this whole thing as if it's something they have any say over. It's one thing to have your opinion and calmly state it and move on, but it's another thing entirely to sit around constantly fuming over it. Now I don't know about y'all, but I'm about to start school again, and I tell you what, I have a lot more important things to worry about than whether or not gays can get married. I get that it goes against people's religious beliefs, and I get that it's unsettling, but honestly... if the biggest thing you're upset over is the fact that gays can marry, you need to get a freaking life.
