This has been on my mind for quite awhile now. It blows my mind how people sit there with a perfectly straight face and say that fat rolls are curves, and that you should celebrate your "curves" and accentuate them. It's in response to the show "How Do I Look?" Anyone with eyes can tell some of those women are just plain fat. According to www.thefreedictionary.com:"Curve (noun)

a. A line that deviates from straightness in a smooth, continuous fashion.
b. A surface that deviates from planarity in a smooth, continuous fashion.
c. Something characterized by such a line or surface, especially a rounded line or contour of the human body."
And now the definition of a roll, according to dictionary.reference.com:
"Roll (noun)
44. a cylindrical or rounded mass of something: rolls of fat."

Seriously, I don't understand it at all when fat people wear clothes that show off their 'curves.' How can they stand it? ;A;
On another note, at least it's subcutaneous fat and not visceral fat.

Some people are perfectly healthy while being fat. Maybe not so fat that people have the thought "this person's fat" in their minds when they see them, but they're fat enough to have rolls somewhere. I just wanted to say that. I'm not trying to formulate a contest to your point, or anything, I completely agree. For awhile I was actually unsure whether or not people were referring to their entire body being curvy, or just rolls making some sort of curve. It seemed like people used it so much more often for the latter that I stopped liking the term when nice bodied people used it. Humans have the craziest minds! o.O

I don't really know what they're referring to anymore. It seems like there's a movement to go against the "thin is in" mentality and just love yourself for who and what you are, and part of that movement is calling your fat "curves" to make it sound less bad hahaha Rolls do make curves, tho, now that I think about it: convex curves!

'Cept they're not smooth, like you said, and from far away the rolls seem to be stacked, curving out and then in, breaking the curve. They're not smooth close up on the skin, and neither are they smooth with clothes on.

Eesh, that's a terrible thing to say. O.o
Some people are actually very clean, even if they are susceptible to filthiness. I agree with the ridiculousness of people with rolls calling themselves "curvy", but sometimes people are born large and never have a chance to be aware of having the ability to change their body before people start making fun of them. It doesn't mean they don't try, or anythin'.
