You know that feeling you get when you're alone, and everything is just raining down on you (pardon the pun). When you can't see for the shadows and darkness blinding you. When you can't see the light? I get those, and I know everyone else does. Then that one person picks you up and shines brighter than you've ever seen them before... and you know you're safe.

I hate this background...I detest the rain (its my first attempt at rain / wet horses 0_0 Oh my.

It was *Diikae 's birthday a while ago, and it has just gone christmas. This girl is possibly one of my most cherished friends here and I simply adore her character Realliae... She is so bright and bubbly- the complete opposite to Marlowe who is withdrawn and sullen most of the time. This little mare is his light in the darkness, and his beacon in the storms... though he's never told her that.

I think the rain came out really, really great! ;D And i love there poses and the sad atmosphere (Well at least i think it's a bit sad! Anyways, like your style, it's cool&cute, and i love their poses! dx

Wow, really awesome work!
Horses look perfect, their anatomy and shading is very good. And background is gorgeous! I love the clouds and water. Grass looks good (it's great, that you don't use photoshop brush to draw it xD).

Wow, this is just superb! (and sorry for the late comment. ) I love the mood of the whole piece, the rain and clouds are fantastic, and I absolutely adore how the water splashes on and runs off the two horses. Wonderful choice of poses, they look so tender and I love how you drew the wings! Absolutely beautiful!

I have so much love for this that I think it might be bad for my health....
I said the WIP was adorable, but this is just in a whole other realm of cuteness! The expressions on their faces and the fact that they are trying so, so, so hard to touch each other is so heartwarming and beautiful. You can tell that Marlowe really feels for Rea, despite his gruff exterior, and she is thoroughly enamoured by him.
And speaking of Marlowe, am I allowed to have a crush on him too?? Or is that just a little bit too sluttish? That X-marks-the-spot tattoo/marking is just... *dribble*
I'm loving this style you are developing. It's really unique, and still remains detailed and accurate despite being fairly simplistic to look at. It shows you really know your anatomy (I suppose all that vet school is paying off... ). The background is lovely - simple yet well structured and detailed. I particularly love the rocks and the ocean. If I had one tiny critique, it would be that I think your rain needs be a little bit sharper. (Although that may just be the rubbish screen on the computer I'm using in the office). It is brilliant where it is landing on Marlowe and Rea, but in the air it lacks definition. Just a suggestion...
But on the whole, a truly fabulous piece of art. More please!!

I really like it! The emotions are very strong and the whole composition very dynamic, while the colours are soothing and serene <3 The stormy water, the rain and the wind look incredible, it almost *feels* cold and damp and horrible.
Only suggestion about the rain i would have is maybe to add some sharper/more detailed raindrops that would appear to be closer to the "camera" so to speak, and the forefround could be emphazised a little as well.

I also got stuck looking at Marlowe's (the blue horse?) left front hoof, there's something a little off there. It's a like the horse was drawn as if he would be standing on flat ground and then was placed on a sloping ground. That is, instead of being in the air the hoof should now be on the ground. But this might just be my eyes decieving me as well, it's hard to tell.
