Description MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It is that time again isn't it. The wonderful *Equinus has done another absolutely stellar job in organising the Equine Secret Santa again this year- Thank you Dana!

I was assigned ~The-Horster-Tamer this year and chose to take on her beautiful Aquiletan mare, Saoirse. Here she is, taking a flight around a very icy place, looking down at the hole in the ice...because this breed absolutely adore water! She really is a gorgeous design and I had a great time toying with her There definitely is something about red roans.

I have to admit that I'm really not happy with this, and I panicked when I saw the deadline was today- the background is... intensely blah (I'm so out of practice with pretty much everything photoshop related)... but I really hope that you like it... and that you have a fantastic Christmas. All the best for the New Year as well!

I think I'll be retouching the background a wee bit soon. Its a bit rough and ready |:

Aiee its so pretty! I love snow/ice scenes. That background is not bleh at all, its perfect, and really fits in with the Christmas theme. Also, the mares coat totally adds a contrast to all the blue and white! I love the birds too, a nice little touch! Sorry for the long-ass comment, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

And you were so worried about this!! It's absolutely stunning hun, you knocked its socks off. OK, can I please have it on record that I HATE you for being so good at wings. They are insane! Make mine look like a five year old did them... The background is sublime. You may think its blah, but I really like how simple it is. It makes Saoirse pop out so much more. I also love the textural differences between the ice and the clouds. They could so easily look like identical white blobs, but they don't. Mwah, perfection!
