Totally random. Never rped them and not a couple or anything, I just wanted to do a pic of Page's crab hydromorph, Maelstrum. Seeing that Cairns is a sealover, I'm sure she'd be captivated by him. It's a sweet little Christmas moment. =]
It's the first snow, so that's why the grounds still greenish.

Eh, my one critique would be the background. I would ask why the waterline in the background suddenly goes crooked near the right of the picture, since there's no ground as far as I can see to justify that...

I know, it wasn't til I started coloring him that I realized how alike they look. I'm sure it was completely coincidental- whoever came first. I'm pretty sure Page had Mael way before I had Rhythm though hahah.
And thanks! I kind of changed my style a little bit, that's much more comfortable for me to do. The realistic thing is so difficult hahah.
