Description

A Wonder Weapon designed and developed in Germany, the Ray Gun was the brainchild of H. Porter who worked for Group 935. A semi-automatic energy based weapon, the Ray Gun's first appearance was featured in "Call of Duty: World At War". It can be obtained in the campaign level "Little Resistance", but it's mostly seen in the Zombie maps for the game. Since it's introduction, the Ray Gun has been one of the most powerful and iconic weapons seen in the Call of Duty arsenal.

The Ray Gun is semi-automatic but keeping your finger on the button allows for full-auto fire, emitting a powerful green energy rings from the barrel that can kill an enemy with a single shot unless the target is more durable, which requires more hits. The weapon's ammunition are what appear to be atomic D batteries which enter the gun after the shooter pops open the barrel and inserts them. It fires 20 rounds, but when Pack-A-Punched, it has 40 rounds. Once Pack-A-Punched, the gun becomes the Porter X2 Ray Gun and emits more powerful energy rings that are now red in color.
