Description
In the 30 year war between man and machines, Skynet had evolved in technology. In Terminator: Resistance, the year is 2027 and by this time, Skynet has created first generation phased plasma rifles known as the R95. The weapon could be wielded by a T-800 with a single hand, however humans needed 2 hands to hold it. The weapon fires bolts of red plasma in full automatic fire. The rifle is able of damaging 800 series Terminators armed with first gen plasma weapons very well, but against something with second gen plasma weapons requires second gen arms. The weapon's magazine is unlimited, but ironically needs red plasma cells in order to fire. Continuous fire of the gun will cause overheating. Like the Techcom rifles, these weapons can also be upgraded with fire rate, stability, damage and magazine capacity. This rifle and it's second gen variant are similar, however the energy glowing from the front on second gen is violet while this is red.
