The first issue (of 3) is available here: [link] although shipping to Japan might be very pricey, if they even do it. I think you mentioned you often get stuff sent to your folks' place in the US though (was that you?) so that might be the way to go. In any case, thanks for your interest!

I'm a sucker for mad scientists and laboratories. I hope you finish this comic within, say, the next 50 years. My corporeal status will be pretty iffy after that.

Well, at 98 I'll likely slowing down a bit by then too! I am almost finished penciling page 19 of the 24 pages in the first issue (#1 of 3) and I have up to page 15 inked, so I'm actually optimistic that this should be out before summer. And by that I think I probably even mean the summer of 2011.

Yep, this limited series/graphic novel (whatever) is pretty much just that: old fashioned comics fun throughout. As soon as I get the paying work outta here I think the positive response has given me the impetus to keep plugging away at the thing. Gotta try to at least get the first (of 3) issues out this year!

I hate to argue with MLM but I don't think anyone else believes you need that at all! A nicely rounded lady is a good thing but a "nicely rounded man", er . . . not so good!

Oh, yes, writing, breakdowns, pencils, inks and lettering all by me. I'm also doing a map that sort of explains this bizarre world in which the story takes place, and I think it may be the single most complex piece or art I've ever drawn. Once that's done I hope I can loosen up my style a bit and start cranking out pages.
Of course the paying work has to come first though. Sigh.
It will be done some day though. Great to know some people are interested at least!
