What program or tools did you use?

Photoshop and a pen tablet.

Where did you find the inspiration for your entry?

I've always found 'fantasy' armour to be quite amusing in how unpractical is must be to wear. I thought it would be quite fun if, under all that macho bulky protection, there was a little skinny person inside. That wasn't enough for an image alone - I wanted an activity to take place - so I decided that it must get very hot in the armour, and what better way to cool down than with a swim? So the transformation here isn't really physical, but rather a transformation from one thing into something perhaps quite unexpected.

How long did it take to complete?

The painting took a fair amount of time, but what took longest was trying to come up with the idea. I'd jot down sketches onto paper, and attempt them in photoshop, but for a week or so nothing was working, until yesterday when this idea finally clicked. However, that didn't leave me very long to finish it - so it was a bit of race against the clock!
