Thought I'd give the contest a go!

A few interesting things to note:

The setting

This takes place next to my hometown of Kingston-on-Spey; a little village up in the North East of Scotland. The bunker and tank defences (those concrete blocks) are remnants of the WW2 sea defences that run along our coastline. I thought it would make an interesting contrast to view both old and new sea defences in the same picture!

Dogs! Lots of dogs. The beach you see and the nature reserve around it (named The Lein) is where everyone takes their dogs for a walk. So I imagined some sort of group of 'Jaeger Spotters' who would head out with their canine companions for a bit of action watching.

We also happen to be near to two military bases: Kinloss Barracks and RAF Lossiemouth. I figured Kinloss would be a good place to keep the Jaeger and the jet fighters you see have been scrambled from Lossiemouth.

The Jaeger

Something a bit warrior and rogue-like, I figured, given our Celtic history. I've given the Jaeger a spear and a Celtic round-shield (upgraded with a bit of tech, of course). The Jaeger's also wearing the skull of a mutated deer-like Keiju, much like some would wear a bear or wolf-skin as a means of showing their prowess. The Jaeger gained the name 'Hunter Stag' as a result.
